Janhvi Kapoor is Leaving Bollywood. Janhvi Kapoor, the daughter of producer Boney Kapoor and late actress Sridevi, is undoubtedly one of the most famous star kids in Bollywood. Janhvi Kapoor made her Bollywood debut in the year 2018, with Dharma Productions movie Dhadak, along with Ishaan Khattar. When she just started to get good offers from Bollywood, a bolt from the blue came and looks like her career in Bollywood is almost over now.
As per reports, Janhvi Kapoor has decided to leave the Bollywood industry. She has decided to opt for the Tollywood film industry. Let us find out in this video, what has happened that Janhvi has taken such a drastic step regarding her career. Well, every people thought that as Karan johar was launching Janhvi, she would have a grand debut in the Bollywood industry. Rather, Karan chose a low budget movie Dhadak, which was a remake of Tollywood movie Sairat.
Janhvi has already done a few movies in the industry, but only her debut movie was able to see a theatrical release. At such an early stage of her career, Janhvi got stuck within the 4 walls of the OTT platform only. Her second movie Ghost Stories was released on the OTT platform, Netflix where she worked under Zoya Akhtar’s direction. Her next movie, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, is a biopic of a Kargil warfighter who is the first female pilot of a fighter plane. Janhvi had high hopes with this movie and thought it would be a turning point for her career. But hard luck for her. This movie will not see the theatrical release. It would be released on the OTT platform, Netflix because of the pandemic situation. Also, another upcoming movie Roohi Afzana, a horror-comedy with Rajkummar Rao, has been scheduled for an OTT release.
After the demise of Sushant, people have also decided to boycott the movies of star kids and that led her career in great danger. Her big-budget movie Takht already got shelved due to the controversies regarding star kids. As most of the stars of it are nepo kids. Janhvi has not got the chance to do any big-budget movie to date which is why, neither Janhvi nor her father is happy how her career is shaping. Which is why, Janhvi has decided to leave Bollywood and enter the Tollywood industry, which her mother, Sridevi ruled once. As per reports, Janhvi already got many movie offers from Tollywood but rejected those as she wanted to stay in Bollywood. But now she has agreed for Tollywood and if reports are to be believed then Janhvi has already signed a big-budget movie in Tollywood.
